UniFi / TrueNAS App Plex / Cross VLAN Network Challenges
Troubleshooting a cross VLAN connectivity issue across my network. my IoT network still cannot see Plex despite PlexPass Network configuration and following the Zone-Based Policy guide located here.
I have Plex running in a TrueNAS app with VLAN 1 and I am wanting my IoT (107) streaming devices to connect to the Plex locally. I have the policy set up to allow the following in UniFi Policy Engine:
Source Zone: Internal Network Section: 192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.107.0/24, Any port, Allow Action with Auto Allow Return Traffic toggled on
Destination Zone: Internal IP: [IP Address of Plex within TrueNAS, not the docker IP] Port: Specific 32400
Both IP Versions Protocol: All
I have paused any manual-built Block rules to troubleshoot the issue.
Plex Network LAN Networks are the following, tried with spaces and without spaces:
172.16.8.0/24,192.168.1.0/24,192.168.107.0/24
Plex Mobile sees the server just fine on full external access with my port forwarding configuration.
