Cleaning work boots
Heyo, I just had a few questions on cleaning and conditioning my work boots. I believe most of the dirt/staining is from grinding and slag dust. I have attempted to clean these 3 times now using Danner suede and leather cleaner, then Red Wing foam leather cleaner that was diluted per the instruction, followed by the same Red Wing cleaner applied directly to the sponge. I have tried using just a rag, a brush and the sponge to try and get them clean and while I made progress I can’t seem to get them any better than this.
Is there anything else I can do to clean these up even more? These are just work boots and I am not to concerned about the appearance but I am worried about if it affects the leather conditioner. Is it ok to apply the conditioner with the boots looking like this?
