I have newly broken foot by a little over a week now. I am having the hardest time getting my toddler to run out of energy. I feel terrible because I am basically bound to a chair. I cannot get on the floor because it’s so hard/painful to try and get back up. I can’t drive as it is my right foot. He’s really just been sitting with me and watching TV, but it definitely effects nap and bed time because he’s done nothing all day and I feel terrible. Any suggestions on how I can still make a fun/active day for him?

I started my fitness journey January of this year and am down 43 pounds! I have 27 more to lose so of course the weight is coming off slower as I get closer to my goal. On Tuesday I took a tumble and broke my right foot. I do not want to give up on losing weight, but movement is insanely limited for me atm. I’m sore all over from the tumble so I’m going to trying to take it easy the rest of the week. I’m 5’1 so calories are already pretty limited and now with me being bed/chair bound for the most part idk what to do. I’d hate to limit my calories more cause I’m nervous I’d binge (that use to be a big issue for me). What can I do to help stay active even in a chair/bed? Or maybe high volume low calorie meals?
