Am i the only one who feels like the boss quality fell off a cliff in the late game?

To be clear, I really enjoyed the game overall but the final three bosses ranged from alright with the butterfly dragon thing, to bad with hoenir to downright awful with the blight lord. And the worst part is for the true ending you have to fight a super version of the blight lord who is by far the worst boss in the game. does anyone else feel this way? It feels so wired because i liked the late game areas a lot so it feels weird that all the bosses tied to them kinda sucked. also without spoilers does ender magnolia have this problem to?

Fun fact: even if the konpeki heist went exactly to plan we would have been hunted down within the day and we know exactly how

I see a lot of hypotheticals talking about what would happen if the heist went according to plan and how dex’s plan actually wasn’t that bad so on my next playthrough i payed special attention to the heist to see if the plan really would have worked. Just for framing, yorinobu will not kill saburo in this timeline as that obviously wasn’t planned and changes everything. Anyways want to know where the plan crashed and burned? Literally the second V and Jackie walked into konpeki. The scanners picking up on the flathead seems like a relatively unimportant detail given that it is explained away by their meeting with the arasaka executive but the absolutely dismal research dex and t-bug put into konpeki’s security systems doomed them right here. The issue is after all is said and done and the chip is stolen arasaka will immediately look into who did it and one of the first things they would look for is anomaly’s like i dont know military grade tech on the premises? And when keeping track of all tech in the hotel one of the first things they would notice is that this meeting with the arasaka executive that was used as a cover never happened. From there they know exactly which two jackasses have the chip and how they got there (delamain parked out front). From there its child’s play tracking the delamain back, forcing delamain to give up information, and then rounding up and killing every gonk even semi connected to this plan. So in other words yorinobu was the best thing to happen to V and jackie because if not for him they and everyone close to them would be wiped off the face of the city without a trace.
