so long story short I live in an apartment complex that I wouldn’t call “luxury“ per se but it’s nice. it’s a really cute community. To make a long story short, all dogs are DNA swabbed upon move in and in my leasing agreement there is a portion stating that you will get fined if your dogs feces are not cleaned up. I have a cute little dog who I always clean up after- if I didn’t clean up once then I would 100 percent take full ownership of it but I have never missed a cleanup ever. Last night I received a violation notice for my dogs feces being left on the ground near the little doggy garbage and was fined 200$. I can’t even fight them on it because i have no proof or anything it wasn’t his but im really upset! it feels like management is being sleazy by having these fines because I have nothing to stand against. Is DNA swabbing and picking up feces to test normal?! I’m such a clean person too none of it makes sense. like I even will pluck the grass if his feces aren’t solid.
