For those who feel that shame or anxiety around their male sexual identity or anatomy was a factor leading them to AGP...
Do you think that you carry that shame physically? Do you hold yourself differently because of it, subconsciously hiding your penis?
Or is it purely a mental thing for you?
APT stands for anterior pelvic tilt (the opposite extreme being PPT), and there's no shortage of videos on youtube and social media describing exercises to "fix" your posture if you "have APT". My understanding is that APT isn't necessarily objectively unhealthy, but I do think it looks feminine and usually suits women better than men.
I raise this question here because I have found certain stretches or exercises do seem to make it easier to get into male mode somehow - they say thinking is embodied!
The exercises I'm thinking of are often aimed at reducing APT, or activating the core or the glutes. A few of them are...
- 90 90 hip lift (specifically the variation where you squeeze something between the knees while doing it)
- Glute Bridge
- Sink Squat
- Lunge
- Cat/Cow (this one goes both ways so it's good for noticing any difference in how it feels)
Does anyone else notice anything with stuff like this?
