Half of my tooth missing😭

Hello,
I lost a Little corner of my tooth and made an appointment at my dentist. I could feel some sharp edges. 2 days I didn‘t concentrate on chewing on the other side and suddenly the edges were gone but I felt even more of my tooth was missing.

The First time I found the piece of my tooth. The sexond time I felt nothing while chewing.

I have absolutely no pain.

I Never had Problems with my teeth and the dentist was always pleased with my hygiene.
I know I have to wait for the appointment but I am in a Bad mood and I am generally a very negative person.

What could i have to prepare for?
