I enlisted twice. I had 10 months in iet before separating. I was in the IRR and re-enlisted a couple years later

I realized that my LES has my years of service start date I shipped for basic the second time. But shouldn't my years of service start when I first took the oath? My total TIS is almost 5 years, and I should have 3 years of active federal service according to my most-recent refrad statement. So shouldn't I at least be getting paid at either the 3 year mark or 2 year mark?

Applying to nyc after getting into grad school. My lease ends in two months and so far I've only interviewed for one federal job in nyc. Aside from some hospitality jobs, my experience has always been public sector: military, state, and fed govt. But after the cuts, there aren't many fed jobs in nyc

I started looking into the private sector, but I don't even know where to begin. Just going through LinkedIn and indeed

What should I doooo
