Pileated woodpecker question!

I saw three pileated woodpeckers together this morning! Two females and one more that I wasn’t able to ID the gender of. They were initially on a dead tree, but I followed them to the tree in the video (which I took with my phone). I didn’t end up getting them together on camera. On the first tree, the two females were very close to each other, on opposite sites of a trunk that wasn’t particularly thick. The third one flew onto a very nearby branch on another tree.

Does anyone have an idea of why three pileated woodpeckers would be together? I think one of the “females” might have been a juvenile, but I was too excited to look up how to tell them apart from adult females. Could it have been a pair supervising their near-adult offspring?
