ECO2023 -Microecon question

does anyone know if Professor MArk Rush also does lectures in person for the hybrid class? I remember hearing from an advisor that even though the class is online and hybrid he still offers in person lectures.

ECO2023 ONLINE?

Is the 80 - 99% one live Zoom classes, or mostly pre-recorded/asynchronous too? And for the 100% online one, is it fully work-at-your-own-pace?

Freshman schedule help - MAC 2313, ECO 2023 & ACG 2021?

Hi! I’m an incoming freshman planning on majoring in either Statistics + Economics. I already have my AA and I’m coming in with a lot of credits, so I don’t need to take Quest or worry about gen eds as much.

Right now I’m considering taking:

  • MAC 2313 -- Calculus 3
  • ECO 2023 -- Principles of Microeconomics
  • ACG 2021 -- Introduction to Financial Accounting

My main question is: do these three classes sound manageable together for a first semester at UF or perhaps too much while adjusting to college at UF?

Another option I’m considering is MAC 2313 + ECO 2023 + Intro to Statistics (STA2023) + one lighter class to get to 12 credits.

Would appreciate any advice!

Preview - how does registering for freshman classes work?

Do I need to meet with an advisor during preview day? If so, when? Is it a one on one appt?

UF PREVIEW???

Can someone please explain how UF Preview works.... should I go on already knowing what classes I would like to take this fall?
ALSO, after PREVIEW, can I change my courses?
If I pick a course at preview and later change my mind can it be changed or do freshmen have holds on their accounts?

Can i take 3 classes (that equal up to 12 credits) or do i need to take 4 classes?

If I take 3 classes and they are each 4 credits, do I still need to take a fourth class?

(I am coming into UF with already many credits from AP and DE so I am not worried about like not having "enough" especially because it will be my first semester )

CALC 3 - MAC 2313 --- how is it at UF??

Incoming freshman who took Calc BC in high school. Is MAC 2313 manageable first semester freshman year..... or is it considered pretty difficult at UF? Any advice or things I should know going in --- any good professors??

Or wait to take it until second semester to ease into UF??
