Severus and Lily - Alexandre Desplat

Severus and Lily - Alexandre Desplat

From Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 OST
I agree with comments I have read on this, it reminds me of Mina/Dracula and Love Remembered, especially around the 40 second mark to around the two minute marker.
These are two gorgeous pieces by Wojciech Kilar that are from Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). Huge fan of the film, though that aside, I think this music really represents how Severus felt of Lily and continued to feel up until his death.
The sense of innocence at first, the longing, the sadness, the guilt, the hope, the detachment, all of it; the music has a sense of 'eternal', which I like for this. I think you can hear the 'always' coming through. This works for book Severus also I think, not just the movie version imo.

I love how agitated Bellatrix was with each answer when she questioned Severus & how he threw them back 100x funnier into her face

Harry Potter TCG 'Dog Bite' Card

kinda digging the boots for Severus ngl. Personally, I imagine darker ones, but the style is not too far off how I pictured them, but I don't mind this color at all imo. They seem really utilitarian vs the kind we see more fancy-wise, as Dumbledore or say what Lockhart wears. A good amount of the art in the late 90's/just as the books were coming out have this art style.

Anyways, the shoes in some of the art of that era for HP has more of the curled-toe and typical 'wizard/witch' style shoe, so I'm glad they gave him the boots, which seems to fit his character imo over the ones we see others drawn with. Loving the heel/platform though, most of the art of this era has that regardless of the shoe type in the art for the TCG.
NSFW: >!Those look like some good boots to fuck in/to get fucked in, some great traction also, gawt damn !<💀
