We often easily forget how deep the lore goes, so I decided to quench my thirst for knowledge, and pirated the server library a few playthroughs back.

I got my hands on an interesting arcane opus of forbidden knowledge. It explains that the earliest procedurally generated landscapes were so broken that they had massive earthquakes and tsunamis in the lake biomes. Especially one freakishly large tsunami which permadeleted the loyal playerbase from the Dark Ages event, these were players who had been around since at least the vanilla Helvetic La Tène early access servers. It's disgusting how they used them as guinea pigs to improve the area.

Another interesting bit of information is that they're eventually planning on nerfing the beauty. The translucent blue lake of the Lemanic region is expected to be downgraded to a foggy shade of grey mud in 40,000 years. No explanation given.

To the Swiss, is there something, anything, you are not proud of?

For many, Switzerland is just about the most coveted country a human being could ever wish to live in. While it might be a well-deserved boost to the collective ego, I would want to know what the dark side is. Especially from the native Swiss among you who have chosen [or are considering to] to leave the country and build a life elsewhere.
