I got tired of expensive stock analytics platforms hiding volume data, so I built a free 3-Layer Prediction Dashboard. Looking for brutal feedback!

"Hey everyone, I’m a solo developer and I've been working on a project called Lay4Cast.

I wanted a way to visualize volume momentum without paying crazy monthly fees, so I built an engine that analyzes stocks in 3 layers:

  1. Intraday: 30-minute interval volume distributions (spotting morning vs. afternoon momentum).
  2. Weekly: Trend forecasting based on the last 12 weeks.
  3. Seasonal: 3-year historical monthly patterns.

It automatically generates a "confidence score" based on how well the 3 layers agree with each other. It also lets you search for tickers, save watchlists, and set price alerts.

To be fully transparent: This is my V1 MVP. The current model uses weighted heuristics/statistics. For V2, I am planning to implement Facebook Prophet and Random Forest for true ML forecasting.

But before I spend weeks building the heavy AI backend, I wanted to put this in front of real traders. Is this 3-layer layout actually useful to you? What features are missing? What should I change?

"I'm not posting the link because I don't want to break the self-promotion rules, but if you want to play with the live dashboard for free and help me test it, just leave a comment and I'll DM you the link (or you can find it in my Reddit profile bio)."

Roast my app, I’m ready for the feedback! 🍻"

3 layer prediction model.

I’m no trader, neither full stack developer, and I built AI stock market prediction engine using my expertise in WFM forecasting and planing phases. At the beginning it was just Idea to have quick accessible tool that does not require over sophisticated graphs with rulers and other tools to fit trend lines, but to just quickly give market direction and confidence level based on signal strength.

My early experience on stock market was in unregulated brokerage as a salesman. Seen guys admiring wolf of the wall street, boiler room and staff like that. And only thing I know for sure is that nobody can predict the market with absolute certainty and who does is either charlatan or scammer.

Anyways I built tool which makes sophisticated math behind the scenes and is free to everyone who wants to explore it.

At this stage I would like to have user side feedback, how easy it is to comprehend, what is confusing? what is uninviting etc.
