I’m a mom of 2, work full-time in-person, (but I do get periods of downtime sometimes), commute back home to hang with the kids/husband. Kids are 4&6, so they still bicker a lot, need reminders to clean up, eat dinner, etc. I make dinner, husband tidies, and we put them to bed, and they come out a few times, or overnight several times and that sucks. Overall, I have a great life. I just don’t feel happy- with everything going on around us, the looming uncertainty, rising costs of everything. I am fortunate to be able to block out news cycles, and yet this does loom in the back of mind.

I am writing because I want to know- is anyone truly thriving and happy? Or is everyone just going through the motions and surviving?
