Warwick MMath or gap year for Cambridge Maths?
I’m trying to decide whether to go straight to Warwick MMath Maths or take a gap year and apply to Cambridge Maths (2027 entry).
My grades:
A* Maths
A* Further Maths
A Physics
I currently have a Warwick MMath offer. I applied to Oxford Maths last year but was rejected, and I’ve never applied to Cambridge.
I also sat the TMUA (5.3) and MAT (44) last year with basically no preparation.
Would you take the gap year and properly prepare for the TMUA to have a shot at Cambridge, or just go to Warwick?
Is Cambridge worth sacrificing a year for, given that Warwick MMath is already a very strong options?
