The rest of last week's unfuckening!

Kept forgetting to update after I showed off the before/after of my fridge. Didn't take before pics of the rest of the kitchen, but most of the work done there was in purging and reorganizing all of the drawers and cabinets.

I know you're not supposed to marathon, but it's the way my ADHD brain works so that's what I did! 🤷‍♂️ I don't like to stop what I'm doing when I have a game plan in motion.

Proud of what I did and excited to redecorate some of the new empty spaces!

Spending today and tomorrow unfucking my apartment. Before/after of fridge and freezer!

The freezer was full of icicles because there was a bag of peas jammed against the vent lmao. Had to throw out most of the bagged veggies since they were all incredibly freezer-burnt, but I can bite that bullet since they were like a buck each at Aldi. I didn't even realize what a mess it was in there until I went to clear it out!!! (Though that's kind of the theme of the whole apartment thus far 💔) There was a lot of grime and gunk all over the place, too, which has thankfully been amended.

I've partially unfucked several other major problem areas, but they're not finished, so pics will come later.

Other things accomplished today (that I forgot to take pics of):

  1. Cleaned/organized bathroom cabinets

  2. Cleaned/organized dish/cookware cabinets and all contents therein (and deep cleaned the Keurig buried in there that I totally forgot I owned lmao)

  3. Cleaned behind the washing machine (evacuated some lost socks and a whole warren of dust bunnies)

  4. Vacuumed and mopped all of the hard floors, including underneath all the movable furniture! Didn't make a huge difference visually but WOW was there a lot of nasty shit on the floor. The lack of grit won't last long, since my younger cat is a horrible little fiend in the litterbox, but it'll be nice while it lasts.

  5. Got rid of a fuckton of old cardboard boxes that I've had since we moved into the apartment 2 entire years ago????????

I know it doesn't sound like a whole lot, but it took me like 8 straight hours, lol. Tomorrow I'm tackling the pantry and my bedroom! 🫡 Wish me luck!

Resume tips for someone with limited experience?

Since graduating from art school in 2020 I've struggled to find work, so my resume is full of low-paying customer service jobs. I desperately want to escape service work but have no idea how to make it happen when it's the only field I've held a steady job in--currently I'm working at Starbucks. I'd kill for an office job atp :((

Any ideas?
