First big bike ride and I dropped it 😭

I passed my A licence yesterday, the only big bike I fell in love with was an Africa twin and my boyfriend has a Tenere so when it came to choosing a big bike that’s what I went for.

Today on first big ride on a national speed limit road we came to an unmarked give away junction there was no signs for it earlier, and it was just around a corner on a slope, so I slowed down, stopped at the junction to look both ways and pulled handlebars to turn right, that was enough for gravity to topple me over… fortunately the engine guard took the brunt of it, decal on the right hand side, handlebar wind breaker broke and brake lever bent slightly, bike struggled to start but after trying a few times it did and it sounded and rode as normal.

My confidence though dropped significantly. I was so happy up to that point, no issues whatsoever and one silly sloped junction took that away… I’m really not sure what to do now, I’m so worried about getting on the bike and drop it again 🥺
