Did Ziad know? TW: child abuse/death

Edited to add: I'm not defending Ric and him being a shit person (passport bro predator) but I absolutely am sympathetic to a father whose baby was murdered and then that was triggered on camera. Whether or not Ziad knew and said it for a low blow, I can't imagine being in Rics shoes at that moment.
I don't think they discussed this on the show, and if they did I have no memory of it. But Ric had a son that was murdered by his exs new boyfriend. There is a video on YouTube from The Misery Machine that covered the case. It's heartbreaking, especially the sentencing.
All I could think about was the tell all when Ziad attacked Ric calling him a "fake father", which I already felt was disgusting and uncalled for. But do you think he knew about Ric's son? It's a shame it was over video and not in person, let Ziad stand ten toes down on his statement and let Ric handle it lol
