Bed rest after rescue cerclage at 22 weeks. Thoughts ?

My doctor who treated me from the beginning has given me strict bed rest through out my pregnancy pretty much from the beginning.
Now I got a second cerclage at this time as the first one wasn’t holding it. This was done by another doctor who handles such cases and my doctor couldn’t do it.
My old doctor says that I need to be on strict bed rest and can’t even use the washroom. Where as my new doctor who performed the second cerclage is against bed rest and advices me to atleast use washroom and sit up once in a while as he strongly feels like this will help. Please advice and share your experiences

Rescue cerclage. Cramping and spotting after ?

I got a rescue ceclage done yesterday at 21.4 weeks after my preventative was giving up and doctors had no hope. Hopefully we found a doctor who could do this and we shifted here and he said that the surgery went pretty well.

After that I was shifted to my room and in the night I had drops of spotting and also I thought I was suffering from constipation. Every three hours I have the urge to pass motion or have stomach pain. And then it goes away. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

Need some support - 0.5cm cervix

I’ve been admitted in hospital before ten days when my cervix length dropped to 1.3cm until the stitch. Three days after that it went to 0.8cm. Now after five days of that they are saying that it’s dropped to 0.5cm.
They say that my cervix is too dynamic and membranes are in the funnel beyond the stitch for them to do a second rescue stitch.
Please give me some hope or some suggestions. Did you guys ever go through second stitch with a dynamic cervix ?

I’m 21week 2 days now

Funneling past the cerclage with 0.8mm left.

I’m 20.5 weeks today. We requested for a rescue stitch but at this point my doctor said that my cervix is very very dynamic which make it very difficult for them to put a stitch which there are membranes in the funnel.
How many weeks can I expect to go on from here without stitch? They may consider stitch once they feel that the contractions reduce or the cervix is less dynamic.
Please share stories.

Bulging membranes below the stitch. Please respond. Need support

I was admitted three days back as my funneling 1.2 started till the stitch and I had only 1.36cm cervical length left. I am 20 weeks now. Got an emergency stitch at 12 weeks.
I was made to put my legs at a height to be in an inclined position. It’s been hard but I was and am trying my best to do the same. They did a follow up tvs today to see that my funneling is though the stitch and only 0.7 cm now left.
I’m looking for some hope or some support as I know that my chances are close to nothing. This is my second pregnancy. I lost my first one at 17 weeks with no stitch.

cervix 1.36 cm with funneling to cerclage and contractions – looking for success stories

I am currently 19 weeks 5 days pregnant after a previous second-trimester loss due to cervical insufficiency.
In this pregnancy, my cervical length was already measuring only 2.6 cm at 12 weeks, and I underwent an emergency cerclage at that time.
Since then, I have been on progesterone support and monitored closely.
Today, during my anatomy scan and transvaginal cervical length check, I was found to have:
Cervical length of 1.36 cm
Funneling of approximately 1.2 cm down to the cerclage
Contractions/uterine activity seen during evaluation

My doctor was very concerned and felt unable to give us much reassurance about the outcome, which has left me extremely scared given my previous loss.
I know every case is different, but I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation. If you had severe funneling to the stitch, a very short cervix around 19–20 weeks, or were admitted with contractions this early, how did things turn out for you? How long were you able to stay pregnant after that point?
Right now I am just hoping and praying to keep this baby safe for as long as possible.
