Hi everyone! I’m relocating to the Seattle-Bellevue area for work and would love some community advice on where to live. I’m single and in my early 30s, with most of my friends based in Bellevue. I’ll be in the office three days a week in South Lake Union, so the commute is a real consideration. I’ve seen previous posts suggesting the Bellevue-to-Seattle drive can take at least an hour ,does that still hold true? I’m especially curious whether the newly opened cross-lake light rail has meaningfully changed things. Any firsthand experiences with that commute would be greatly appreciated!

I’m trying to understand if the last action rule applies to my case. My current i94 expires in 2028.
I’m currently with employer A: who filed for my location based amendment in premium processing.
I got an offer from employer B: who filed the transfer.
My transfer got approved yesterday while the amendment is still pending and it might get approved in next couple of weeks.
Does the last action rule apply here? If I join employer B, will I be in trouble?
The employer B attorney says it’s not gonna be a problem. Trying to get a second opinion.
