Medical Review asking for VA Disability Information - HELP
Has anyone dealt with the Medical Review Team in regards to VA Disability?
Is it a fairly straightforward process?
Has anyone needed to provide records of their C&P Exams for Medical Review?
Is there a way to get them WITHOUT a FOIA request?
I received a message requesting more information on my VA Disability.
It is as follows:
For further consideration, please submit:
- All complete VA Disability Rating Decision documents including the “Reason for Decision” section. These forms consist of two parts:
- Part one is the disability rating award amount and “What We Decided,” which includes the medical description, percentage assigned, effective date section and administrative information
- Part two is the “Rating Decision and Reasons for Decision” section. Each medical condition is listed, along with the medical findings and reasons for why percentages were assigned
- You may have more than one set of Disability Rating forms. Please submit copies of all rating decisions along with the reason for decision section.
- You can obtain a copy of your Compensation and Pension examinations from your Regional Veterans Benefits Administration office or by calling (800) 827-1000.
I have part One and Two but don't want to mess around and do a FOIA if I don't have to.
Thanks!
