Question on battery
I’m asking bc I don’t know much about EV or the battery. The dealership basically said here’s the fob, bye… I’ve seen a bunch of posts when it comes to charging; using a few different maps that will give you charging options along the route. I did download one that seems to be nice. I don’t have a Tesla adapter which I think I’ll need to get. (Any ones recommend more over others?) when it comes to charging I did notice someone mention preconditioning the battery. A. How do you do that? B. Do you do it before you leave or when you get back home? I don’t drive much as I work from home, but I took a trip to Laughlin/Bullhead City which is about 100 miles from me. The ride was very smooth and a ton of fun. They don’t have a lot of EV chargers out there besides Tesla destinations chargers which google EV map said weren’t compatible. Not sure if anyone else has this issue but out here at public stations you can only charge to 85%. So if I wanted to go on a longer trip I don’t know how to charge to 100%… I’m just trying to understand my car a bit more so any tips or websites would be helpful.
