We took a trip to the GTA last week, as well as about 3 hours north to a friend’s place.
3 times we lost route planning in the native Google Maps. It worked fine on my phone. During driving the route planning returned on its own.
The first time it happened I called OnStar. They tried a couple things which didn’t work, and then wanted to do a hard infotainment reset. Since I was charging while talking to them I told them no. So I just used my phone through EV Play. During the drive the route planning returned.
Anyone else have this happen to them?
GM agreed to buy back my current Blazer EV. I was looking at replacing it with a 2027, but I haven't seen any rough estimates for when they might start arriving.
Just went it for my 2yr inspection and they charged me about 400$ first for the inspection which was free last time I did it at 14k. Was there a difference in the inspections? The rotated the tires and changed the filter.
New, AWD, with the two additional packages (moonroof and comfort/convenience) I wanted and the exact (and only) color I want. I've been looking at 26's, but what I want isn't priced this good! In a different state, two hours away. I am waiting to hear from the dealer tomorrow and get an OTD price, and figure out my financing options.
Please tell me I can be comfortable getting by using public chargers until we can run electricity out to our shed! Car is like 35 feet from the current electric source on our deck, and we gotta trench things up to run it out to our shed I park next to.
Recently got 2 blazers. 2025 RS and SS. Upgraded from a 23 Bolt EUV premier. Everything is pretty much an upgrade from the Bolt except efficiency.
This post is for the person who commented on a previous post asking that I provide an update when I got it working. I have a ‘25 LT Extended Range Premium.
I’ve been trying to get Surround Vision Recording downloaded for about a year now and I finally took it to the dealer because my Chevy tech tonneau cover is falling apart (the truck is under warranty so I’ll get a new one to tide me over until there are more/better options) and asked them to do a full updates check targeting surround vision recording. They located it, downloaded it, and established that the flash drive has to be specially formatted. I went home, formatted the flash drive (you can google how to do it), and plugged it in. It works!
For any of you living in Connecticut, Blasius Chevy in Waterbury has a pretty good service department. Rates are around $209/hr but I haven’t had to pay for anything yet at 25kmi

Anyone dealt with a rattle from the cargo area. Sounds like it’s coming from around the latch. I’ve checked all the storage area. Pulled the rear hatch panel and check everything there. No idea. It’s pretty loud and you don’t have to be hitting bumps to hear it. When we first got it there was a noise but it turned out to be the license plate flapping in the wind. It’s not that.
Anyone had this issue?
Has anyone dealt with tire and wheel issues during a lease return? I need to replace two tires and want to know if they have to be the same brand or if any equivalent brand is fine. I’ve also attached a pic of the alloy scuff — curious if that usually results in a charge.
I was reading about Lucid's new Gravity GT-S today, and the performance numbers are honestly ridiculous—in a good way.
Over 1,000 horsepower.
0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds.
Three rows of seats.
A few years ago those specs would have described a hypercar. Now they're attached to something you could drive your kids to school in.
What really caught my attention isn't the horsepower itself. EVs have made huge power surprisingly easy to achieve thanks to instant torque. The bigger question is whether we're entering an era where manufacturers are chasing bigger numbers simply because they can.
Personally, I'd rather see companies compete on things like charging speed, efficiency, battery longevity and interior quality. Once you're already around 3 seconds to 60 mph, I'm not sure another few tenths actually change everyday driving.
That said, I think Lucid is doing something smart here. A halo performance model can make the entire lineup more desirable, even for buyers who will never purchase the GT-S.
So I'm curious where everyone stands on this.
Would you rather buy a 1,000+ hp electric SUV, or would you trade some performance for another 80–100 miles of range and a lower price?

(Just a vent post).
Pretty much every time I go into the App (I'm using the Buick one but it doesn't matter), I have to sign in again. Sometimes twice in a day. It's especially infuriating because my password manager doesn't get triggered for whatever reason so I have to open that app and search for the password . Then I have to open my 2FA app and copy the code from it. It's just a whole bunch of steps when you're walking around somewhere and want to check if your charging is done or whatever.
I have a 24 Equinox EV lease ending in 2 months. I’m considering buying a used Blazer EV to replace it. A problem I have with the equinox is that if it’s hot outside or I’ve driven it a lot, the fan runs for a long time to cool down after I’ve turned off the car. Sometimes the fan will turn to cool off when plug in to charge the car. Note, it’s not the AC fan but a battery or engine fan designed to cool off the car.
Also, is the blazer prone to phantom sudden braking aka it thinks there will be a collision and emergency brakes?
I’ve considered just getting another equinox but the fan is annoying, I dislike the windshield glare in sunny conditions, and I feel like the AC can barely keep up when it’s 100+ outside.
Anybody knows what it's used for ?
Hello everyone, so I recently bought my 2024 blazer ev lt. I'm loving it so far and I don't regret my decision, got a great deal on it, but I do wish it had the center led bar like the RS and SS models. I personally like that a lot and so I found out that I could buy it and maybe install it. But I'm not expecting it to be easy, from the research I've done, these are my options:
1- Best-case OEM retrofit — plug into existing hidden wiring
If my LT happens to have the unused factory connector behind the center trim (highly doubt it) I could install the RS/SS light bar and potentially just need GM programming/configuration to activate it. This would be the cleanest solution and give me factory behavior.
2- OEM-style wiring retrofit — add the missing RS/SS wiring
If there’s no connector, I could install the light bar, obtain the correct 15-pin pigtail, and add the necessary wiring between the lamp and the Blazer’s lighting-control system. Depending on how GM configured the LT, this may also require programming. This is more involved but could still behave exactly like factory.
3- Standalone/custom harness — probably the most practical fallback
If the LT’s modules simply can’t control the RS/SS light, I could run the center bar from its own fused 12-V circuit and use one of the existing DRLs/parking lights only as a low-current trigger for a relay/controller. The result would basically be:
Blazer DRLs turn on → controller sees the signal → center bar turns on.
That avoids putting the extra electrical load directly on the factory DRL wiring.
I haven't done anything yet, I'm still doing research and thinking about it, but I thought I'd bring it up on here and see if maybe by any chance anyone has done something similar or has any suggestions.
Just installed the Energy 2026.2 update two days ago, then got this one for Assisted Driving & Cabin. Two updates in less than a week? What is this world coming to?!?
Well, I was hoping that somehow the gods were pleased with me and would spare me the telemetrics module replacement. Nope.
I've been having issues sending destinations from my phone to Google maps but was dealing with it. A few days ago super cruise stopped working. Yesterday I got a message saying to service emergency call or something to that effect. I tried rebooting radio, no dice. Onstar said to take to dealer.
15000 miles, 25 SS. Dealer is ordering module. We'll see how this goes.
Am I losing my mind or did this just show up after a recent update? Never saw this before and didnt see anything in the notes
