Does the Blazer EV have frequent overheating issues?

I have a 24 Equinox EV lease ending in 2 months. I’m considering buying a used Blazer EV to replace it. A problem I have with the equinox is that if it’s hot outside or I’ve driven it a lot, the fan runs for a long time to cool down after I’ve turned off the car. Sometimes the fan will turn to cool off when plug in to charge the car. Note, it’s not the AC fan but a battery or engine fan designed to cool off the car.

Also, is the blazer prone to phantom sudden braking aka it thinks there will be a collision and emergency brakes?

I’ve considered just getting another equinox but the fan is annoying, I dislike the windshield glare in sunny conditions, and I feel like the AC can barely keep up when it’s 100+ outside.

Underlayment recommendation

I have 2.25" plank red oak hardwood floors on my first floor. I want to replace the carpets in the 2nd floor bedrooms with hardwood to update the house and to reduce allergy issues for my kids. I'm considering doing it myself as a diy project, however the wife would rather I hire a pro. I've had 2 quotes so far, one that gave me a price for materials and labor. Another gave me a price for labor and recommended I buy the materials and gave a list. I'll need to clarify what the 1st guy included for his materials.

The 2nd guy recommended the 15lb black felt paper. From what I see online, this is often the recommended solution for hardwood installs on plywood subfloor. What if I want to reduce noise, or increase warmth? I see cork and rubber as options? Are they really viable? The subfloor is most likely plywood - if its not, I will have that installed. I have hardwood at the stair landing and hallways. Thank you for recommendations.
