Im giving my handmade guide for the French Way

Hi everyone!

A few years ago I walked my first Camino de Santiago and created a small handmade guide for myself with:

  • stage maps,
  • distances and difficulty,
  • villages between stops,
  • places to eat and sleep,
  • and little recommendations I found along the way.

here is the link:

Right now we’re researching how pilgrims experience the Camino today and I’d really love your opinion.

I’m thinking about updating this guide and sharing it for free, but I keep asking myself:

What would actually make a Camino guide truly useful or memorable for you?

Would you care more about:

  • practical recommendations,
  • cultural stories and legends,
  • hidden places,
  • emotional moments,
  • pilgrim anecdotes,
  • food and accommodation tips,
  • or something more interactive/fun?

And another honest question:
Do you think younger pilgrims experience the Camino differently today because of phones, social media and technology?

Not trying to sell anything here — I’m genuinely trying to understand what people value most about the Camino experience nowadays 🙂

Would love to hear your thoughts.
