Kartavya on Netflix deserves more attention — and Saharsh Kumar Shukla quietly steals the show
Just finished watching Kartavya on Netflix and honestly, while the series has solid storytelling, intense moments, and a grounded treatment overall, one performance that genuinely stood out for me was Saharsh Kumar Shukla.
He brings a very natural screen presence that doesn’t feel overacted or “filmy.” In scenes where many actors would try too hard to appear intense, Saharsh keeps it subtle and believable, which actually makes the character more impactful. His dialogue delivery, expressions, and body language fit perfectly into the tone of the show.
What I liked most is that he adds depth even in smaller moments — you notice him whenever he’s on screen. There’s a realism to his acting that makes the world of Kartavya feel authentic.
The show itself is engaging, but performances like his are what elevate it beyond being just another crime/drama series on OTT. Feels like one of those actors who deserves much bigger recognition and stronger lead roles going forward.
Anyone else watched it? Curious to know if others also felt Saharsh Kumar Shukla was one of the highlights of the series.
