ADVICE My experience on all the supercars i have driven in my whole life, if anyone is looking into getting any of the cars listed here (except for the cars ive test drove i'd suggest talking to an actual owner)

my first ever sports car was the 2016 maserati granturismo S.
i bought it for about 50k back in around pre covid, i thought it was the coolest car in the world, however it was an absolute catfish, it did sound amazing though.
ferrari derived v8, and it looked killer, but that's where it ends. Its handling wasn't very good, the driving experience was a bit boring, it felt like i was sold a lie and the maintenance was hard to keep up with, sold it after 1 year of ownership.
rating for the maserati:
7/10 for looks
3/10 for reliability
8/10 for the sound
6/10 for comfort
4/10 for practicality

the 991.2 turbo S in miami blue:
insanely fast at the time for me, it looked amazing and it was probably the craziest car i had driven at that time, it handled pretty well, felt very smooth, pdk was like butter, and its acceleration was scary quick at the time, i thought i would never drive a crazier car at the time, i didn't own it at the time, it was just borrowed from a friend.
6.8/10 for looks
reliability ?? (didn't own it)
6/10 for the sound
8/10 for comfort
practicality 7.4/10 (only because i owned a 992.1 turbo S after a while)

My first taste of porsche ownership after being a fan for years:
my first true sports car was a 991.1 carrera 4s that was heavily damaged, i got it for about 70k back then, it was originally gray but then i wrapped it in satin black and i put on chrome wheels (i still regret it to this day) it was my true first sports car and it was amazing to drive, like the turbo S it shifted smoothly, handled well and was a reliable daily, but then i slammed it on a railing and i got it repaired, around 1 year later i sold it due to some problems i couldn't afford. i was making stupid decisions and i let it get to the best of me
7/10 for looks
reliability since it already had an accident on its title 6/10
4/10 for the sound, like a vacuum
7/10 for comfort
5.5/10 for practicality (pain to fix)

While my porsche was in the shop getting fixed, my friend was kind enough to lend me his dbs volante.
It had a full exhaust system, so it was probably the loudest, the sickest car i drove at that time, it was a luxury GT tourer car, comfortable, refined v12 scream, a bit quirky and lots of torque, i wouldn't suggest driving it in the rain though since of the sheer amount of torque.
7.3/10 for looks
9/10 for the sound, with that exhaust it sounded unreal
8/10 for comfort, very nice
practicality about a 3/10 (hella stares)
reliability wouldn't know

2018 mercedes s63 coupe:
now this was pretty fun, got it mid 2021 or so, VERY comfortable, i put a renntech valved system on there, sounded pretty good but it was obviously quiet, felt very grounded, good technology, seats where amazing, got it in the mid 60k range from the grapevine dealer, mercedes was a good dealer to work with at the time, i thought it was the coolest car in the world, threw some hre's on there too and unrelated but i did see an enzo getting serviced there, i dailied it until i solid it early 2023 for an X7M.
6.2/10 for looks
5.8/10 for reliability
4/10 for the sound (disappointing)
9/10 for comfort (super smooth, massaging seats, night vision, etc.)
5/10 for practicality (people would always look at me)

SUPERCARS, WHERE IT GETS SERIOUS:
(from now on it will just be straight supercars here and like maybe 1 sports car)
2022 is when business started BOOMING. i did it, i achieved my dream, i bought a true 911, the 992.1 turbo S, in chalk gray, green stitching on the seats with the carbon roof. it was truly insane, with that porsche chime i fell in love with.
When i got the call, i was ecstatic, i had it pull up by a truck, it was very loud at the time, i didn't do any mods yet but after a while i did a full catless exhaust, i upgraded everything but the turbos, i was maybe on stage 3 pushing 900 horsepower, making 32 psi of boost on full throttle, i kept it until 2025. it was my fastest car and still is to this day, it handled well, very quick, versatile, minimal body roll, and it just felt great to drive overall, i would suggest it for a first supercar if im being honest.
7.4/10 for looks
6.5/10 for reliability (porsche has good service teams, did need to be serviced a bit)
7/10 for comfort
5/10 for sound (couldnt get it to be crazy loud no matter what i did to it)
6/10 for practicality (more lowkey since it was a mundane color)

Then, around early-mid 2023, i got myself a 992.1 GT3, now this, was my best sounding car and is probably my top 5 cars of all time even.
it was black, i put on a satin PPF, aurum wheels, with gold stitching on the interior, that classic porsche chime when you started it up, always made me feel happy. i had a full fabspeed exhaust with carbon tips and megaphone mufflers alongside wing raisers the exhaust was valved and it screamed like hell. this car? i beat the shit out of it, i would do back-to-back 100 mile long drives multiple times in the span of 7 days, did canyon runs, always would hit up lime creek, etc. it was honestly such a tank and comparing it to the turbo S? earth and heaven. completely different, the turbo S earth, the GT3 heaven, turbo S feels like a cadillac compared to the GT3, GT3 was purely a angry, track ready monster, it would take on any challenge you threw at it, this car i probably drove the most.

8/10 for looks (such a batmobile)
5.8/10 for reliability (spark plugs do need to be replaced after you hit a certain mileage, otherwise it was a tank)
9/10 for the sound (flat sixxed scream is just unmatched.)
4/10 for practicality(always would get stares lmao, big ass wing)

Around September 2023, i got probably the most craziest car i got (still is absolutely mental)
the 2018 huracan performante spyder with the VF engineering 8XX kit, it made around 864 horsepower, with a full bolt on exhaust system. and i gotta say, wow. just wow. i still have it to this day, and i do not regret getting it, an open top demon from hell this car was, it even shot flames. it was super loud, looked insane, and is also a tank. i did 180 mph in it, also did back to back long mile drives in this car, it handles like crazy, and it sounds crazy, hell i even put white pinstripes on it. it was so sick.
8.3/10 for looks (absolute menace, im putting a 1016 kit on it soon)
7/10 for reliability(had some defects, got them fixed)
9.2/10 for the sound (it sounds like a demon from hell, the supercharger you can very much hear it, the pops are like gunshots, and it can do 9,000 rpm since it was tuned)
1/10 for practicality (this is NOT a daily and you will get all the attention in the world.)

after a while, around early to mid 2024, i picked up my first ferrari that ive driven and my first V12 that i've owned, the 2019 ferrari gtc4lusso. this? it was a very comfortable family car, its like giving the s63 from earlier anabolic steroids since this car was mental, it was making 700 horsepower, i put a super rare custom made full titanium valved ryft exhaust system, alongside novitec carbon fibre and custom HRE's. its handling was good but when you punch it, it wouldn't deliver power properly, steering was great so was the suspension, it was just the drivetrain that felt weird to me, odd infotainment, and not a fun experience at all. it looked good, sounded good, but god it was probably the most unreliable car i've owned, it needed a 50k repair so i sold it to someone else instead, not to mention the sheer electrical gremlins on it, sold it early 2025.
7.4/10 for looks (rear was nice, front was a bit weird to me)
2/10 for reliability(always had to be in the shop)
7/10 for the sound (classic v12 shrill, sounded unique)
6/10 for practicality(comfortable, good family ferrari)

then mid to late 2024, i picked up a sterrato and an emira, the sterrato i sold in a short period of time, drove it once, it was similar to the performante, lacked leg room in the passenger side, also had a VF engineering kit on it, exhaust and all.

The emira? 2024 first edition manual with the v6, whined like a baby and handled like my gt3, great budget "supercar", and it looked amazing too, however it got boring and repetitive compared to the other cars i owned in that time, i did spec it out from factory, it had interior defects alongside the fact it was in shop for 2 months since it blew its headgasket.(so in total i owned around 6 cars in total, perf, emira, gt3, turbo S, gtc4lusso, sterrato)
sold the emira this november.
8/10 for looks (looked very exotic)
4.2/10 for reliability(annoying)
5/10 for the sound(quiet but nice sounding)
4.7/10 for practicality(the only car that has made me nauseous from driving it, and it was a bit annoying since it would cut the rpms very low sometimes.)

Now, probably my favourite car of all time, and to this day my favourite out of the collection for its sheer history, the 2005 ford GT, picked it up on last december, THE halo car, all the drama in the world. it has a 4.0L whipple supercharger, the biggest headers you can fit on a ford GT, alongside a 1/2 Z pipe from darkstar industries, KW suspension, brembo brakes, new wheels, full interior rehaul alongside a mirror dash cam. i haven't driven it yet with all the upgrades done to it since its still to this day getting the interior redone, manual shifts like a dream, already handled well with the stock suspension, they call it the american CGT for a reason, had rusted spark plugs, leaked differential fluid, engine smoke, does 8XX WHP, 9XX crank
9/10 for looks (analog beauty, timeless design)
9.4/10 for the sound HOLY SHIT. its just pure thunder, ive seen a video with my buddies ford gt, we run the same exhausts except mines may be louder due to bigger headers, and that shit is ear piercing loud, it also is able to do 7,500 RPM. here the video if your interested: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/t1DmKVJak14

410 for reliability (always in shop, tons of electrical gremlins, but it adds personality tbh)
6/10 for practicality(No nanny features, no assists which tbh adds thrill, but very comfortable seats, and a good driving experience, more attention than any of my cars, usually compliments from old couples or truckers)

Probably the most mental stock for stock car i have, the 765lt spyder. everything about it is insane, this is it, the most mental car for under 1 million, the modern GOAT of all supercars. driving it feels like i'm cheating on the ford gt, but boy its such a thrill, a hard top spyder is a dream, compared to that soft top on the performante spyder, the 765lt? looks like a spaceship, in cirrus gray with gunmetal HRE's, catback from opus and hi flowing cats from fabspeed. refined flat plane high pitched roar, the best way to describe this car? it's a scalpel, the thunder in a bottle car, its hydraulic steering feels like you and the road are one, the whip crack like pops from each upshift sounds visceral, shift likes butter, and just the consistent roar of the 765lt, it's probably one of the greatest cars ever made.
this is the car that made me stop being a porsche guy.

9.4/10 for looks (literal carbon fibre spaceship)

7/10 for reliability(i've had zero issues with it other then the battery needing to be replaced since it short circuited, few electrical gremlins that are as easy as replacing the key fob's battery)

8/10 for sound(great refined flat plane shrill)

3/10 for practicality(open top screamer, all the attention, comfortable actually.)

The halo car of porsche that's not a hypercar, the craziest RS that money can buy, the GT2RS. now this car, it's like a assassin. its silent, but it moves in the shadows with brutal efficiency, doesn't make a scene, just goes for the kill. it handles like a dream, its braking capabilities are breakneck insane, however i would take the 765lt any day of the week, its not even a competition, the gt2rs honestly? crazy i am saying, but probably the most boring car i currently own as of today, the 765lt? it just outshines the gt2rs.

8.6/10 for looks (angry, track ready car)
4/10 for sound(needs a $9,000 3 stage tune to make it sound good, and honestly im a bit broke at the moment)
6/10 for practicality(installed in recaros, and fixed wheel alignment, front lift saves a massive headache, hella attention, comfortable and a good car that i could beat up)

A car i have driven, not owned, a straight piped manual murcielago spyder, and 2 words. god damn. the sound? analog v12 roar, its just raw, pure fury from the bull itself, it sounded great, and it looked great, but the suspension? horrible. even my cayenne has better suspension, it just feels so rough, and aggressive. also the turning capabilities are a bit shitty.
8.2/10 for looks (aggressive analog stance)
8.7/10 for sound(fucking amazing)
4/10 for practicality(this car would be a nightmare on long drives)
reliability, don't know since it was a test drive.
