Thinking of Pulling Out from PHINMA SJC… How Do I Explain It to My Sponsor?

Hi! Need help GWHAHAHAHA 😭

I recently saw a lot of negative reviews and experiences about PHINMA Saint Jude College and now I’m seriously thinking about pulling out before classes fully start. The problem is, someone else is going to sponsor my college education, so I don’t know how to explain my decision properly without sounding ungrateful or impulsive.

For context, I’m considering transferring to Trinity University of Asia instead because I feel like the environment and program might suit me better, especially for BSEd English.

How do I open this conversation respectfully? Like what reasons would sound practical and understandable aside from just “I saw bad reviews online”?

Would appreciate honest advice, especially from people who transferred schools before or had sponsors/guardians involved in the decision.

How is Trinity University of Asia (TUA) for college?

I’m currently enrolled sa PHINMA SJC, but I’m planning to withdraw my enrollment and go to TUA instead because of the negative things I’ve been reading and hearing about PHINMA lately, especially when it comes to the overall system and student experience.

I’m planning to take BSEd major in English, so I wanted to ask specifically about the Education program at TUA.

For TUA students or graduates, especially Educ majors: • Kumusta po ang BSEd English sa TUA? • Maayos ba teaching quality and professors? • Heavy ba ang workload? • Supportive ba environment for Education students? • Kumusta facilities, internships/practice teaching, and admin? • Do you think worth it mag-transfer there?

I’d really appreciate honest thoughts and experiences because I’m seriously considering withdrawing from PHINMA SJC and moving to TUA. Thank you.
