Hot take: proposals are still one of the most outdated parts of modern sales
One of the most frustrating parts of sales:
A prospect sounds excited on the call…
asks for the proposal…
opens it…
and then disappears.
Now you’re stuck guessing:
- are they interested?
- stuck on pricing?
- comparing competitors?
- waiting for approval?
- completely gone?
So most follow-ups become random timing + hope.
Feels insane that sales teams can track every website click…
…but proposals still feel like a black hole.
This is just something I’ve personally felt while working with clients though.
I could be completely wrong would genuinely love to hear other perspectives and learn.
