Scooping/ leaking feedback

I just posted in here an acoustic cover of man in the box asking for feedback because I was not a fan of my vocal tone! You guys were so helpful so thank you.

I was told to try more straight forward melody so I thought Outside by staind.

I was told my number 1 thing was scooping notes
and
I have a habit of making everything breathy (which I felt was adding color but I think it just dulled my tone)

Either way would love to hear your feedback how this sounds and how I can improve.

Hit a wall need some genuine truth need some real help

23 Male singer.

I play guitar and I want nothing more than to make music similar to the 90s sound.

I’ve had some voice lessons. Grown tremendously in terms of range and hitting notes without a push but…

I genuinely feel I’m one of those rare cases where no matter if I remove the tension

my natural tonality is just really unpleasant.

I’ve not had one experience where I’m like “yeah this sounds good to my ears.”

I would love professional opinions if there’s something I’m completely missing or if I should just stick to guitar!
