Rosie the dog and Rosie's pie shop

I couldn't help but notice that the place where Belly and Jere stopped for pie was named the same as the dog Conrad found as a kid, which Belly mistakes for Jere being the one who found Rosie. Is there supposed to be a correlation between the two that we, as the audience, should think about? In the scene where Belly and Jere get pie, it's the first time Belly and Jere talk about the ESP that they have with each other. Do they, or is it Conrad? There could be arguments to suggest that Conrad doesn't know what Belly is thinking; I suggest that there is an equal argument that he does, but not all the time. It actually seems that Belly and Conrad share the same mind. They are up when each other is up. They both find their way to the beach. They both pick out the same vase at Michael's. He knew she wanted to stop at the peach stand. They share a lot of the same responses and have shared the same journey.

Belly should take her own advice

You know Belly, you can't keep strings Jere on, no matter if Conrad wants to be with you or not. Taylor told Belly that she was using Davis as an emotional buffer. Taylor kept pushing Steven away so that he couldn't hurt her. Belly does the same thing to Conrad. She pushes him away and lies to Conrad saying she doesn't feel anything toward him. She is cold-hearted towards Conrad even after they have sex in the finale. She builds walls to protect herself from possibly getting hurt by Conrad. The walls she builds to protect herself is actually hurting her. Her fears keep her from trusting Conrad and fully communicating with him honestly.

Plan Belly! Discussion for those who have seen the whole series

Plan Belly. Can we get a plan Belly in movie with Conrad and Steven? Steven and Conrad's friendship was fun in season 2. Can we please get back to that? Steven was team Bonrad and they had to breakup the brothers in season 3. Steven started treating Conrad like Jere. Steven became Jere 2.0 in season 3 and I hated it. I know I am not the only one. I like Conrad's relationship with Steven more than his relationship with Jere. I don't know how to be invested in Conrad and Jere's brotherhood. I find Jere to selfish and to toxic to care. There may still be hope for Steven or at least I hope. Chris and Sean are great in there scenes together.

SPOILERS. Conrad is the answer and the solution. He isn't the problem.

Home Alone was the Christmas movie that Belly was watching while alone in Cousins before Conrad showed up at the house in season 3. Is there a reason they picked it for Belly to be watching? Maybe there is a deeper message to be taken from The Home Alone movie showing up in season 3 other than it possibly being Jenny Han's favorite Christmas movie. My thoughts: Conrad Fisher is Kevin McCallister! “Kevin, you are such a disease.”

“Look, what you did you little jerk.”

“There are 15 people in this house and you're the only one causing trouble.”

"You are, what the French calls les incompétents”

Kevin's family uses him as a scapegoat and claims that Kevin is the one that is the problem. Kevin's sarcastic and flawed, but he wasn't the problem.

He took care of himself and saved the house from the Wet Sticky Bandits robbing their house. His family treated him badly and forgot all about him. Conrad isn't the problem. Conrad thinks he is doing right by Jere and Belly by walking away and not being with Belly. I believe he saw what happened when Belly chose to be with him instead of Jere the first time. Jere didn't take it well and gave him an ultimatum and Belly and Jere stopped talking. The first time he didn't know how Jere felt about Belly. He didn't take his feelings seriously. Jere told him that he still liked Belly. I think he thought he could keep Jere from going through what he went through the first time and also keep himself from hurting Belly as well. He walked away when all three of them should have walked away. He tried to do right by Jere, something Jere never did himself. He also did what was best for himself at the time. California was good for him, just like Paris was good for Belly. He went off, had his own life and took care of himself. By leaving he was no longer holding the whole weight of responsibility of taking care of his family on his shoulders like he was before he left. He learned about himself and regained his love for football for himself. He gave it up because of his issues he had with his dad. He got distance from his brother that treated him terribly. He is the only one that self-reflected and got therapy. Belly should have done the same. She should have taken a step back. She should have focused on herself. Learned about herself, healed from Susannah's death and took time to process her and Conrad's breakup. Choosing Conrad at the end was Belly choosing herself, but when she chose Jere she wasn't choosing herself, instead she lost herself even more. When Conrad is honest and vulnerable people don't like it. People call him cold-hearted, a jerk, a dick and an asshole. Jere supporters call Conrad emotionally manipulative because he is honest and vulnerable in how much he loves Belly to Jere, but in the same breath they will say Conrad doesn't communicate. Conrad communicates, you just don't like what he is saying. Conrad telling Belly to grow up is harsh, but not untrue. Conrad telling Jere to grow up is harsh, but still not untrue. Belly and Jere hooking up in season one, was impulsive, hormonal, and foolish. Conrad was actually thinking wisely and thinking about the consequences of being in a relationship with Belly. He wasn't just a fool rushing into pursuing a relationship with her. Jere and Belly didn't consider the possible fallout of their relationship not working out. They didn't protect or prioritize their friendship. If this was a hero and villain story. Conrad would be the hero saving the damsel in distress (Belly) from marrying the villain (Jere) who deceives and manipulates her into being with him. Who wants to keep her from her true love and Conrad also saves her from her own stupidity. Belly was passive and was wanting Conrad to fight for her. She wanted Conrad to confess his love. It was up to Conrad to call her on the phone. Conrad was the one that showed up at her house wanting to be with her. Conrad was the one to be the first to tell the truth about their feelings. Conrad was the one that wrote Belly love letters and showed up on her birthday in Paris. Conrad achieved what everyone else failed to do. Not only did he get Laurel to come to the wedding, but his confession helped put an end to the wedding that no one really thought was a good idea. A marriage that no one really wanted! There is so much emphasis on Conrad needing to communicate, be vulnerable and be the one to change. I don't think any of these people communicate. They all have secrets, they all lie, and deceive one another. Conrad is shown to be more honest and vulnerable than the rest of them, especially more honest and vulnerable towards Belly than she is towards him. Conrad is the secret keeper of everyone else's secrets.

He's not entirely airing out everyone's dirty laundry. Adam's affair and Jere's cheating in Cambo. Conrad is still flawed. He isn't always honest, but it took Conrad being more honest for Belly to be honest herself. He sometimes has poor execution. “No one is perfect. Not even you.” Said Belly to Conrad. Even heroes and Prince Charming make their mistakes. Sometimes timing is everything. Finding the right time to be together when they were both ready was key. “You have to be good with yourself before you are good with someone else.” Everyone said Belly would go back to being with Conrad. It wasn't a question if she would. It was a matter of how and when.

Michael Jackson's or Jackson's 5 music in the movie?

The TSITP movie is being made at a time where more of Gen Z is being introduced to Michael Jackson's music. The Michael movie is a huge success money maker. The demographic and its primary viewership is part of the millennial age. Millennials were being born at the height of Jackson's career and then most likely growing up on his music. Jenny Han is a Millennial. TSITP has already used a Jackson 5 song in the highest viewed and much loved episode, "Last Dance." With all of this in mind and thinking about the TSITP movie, I just can't wait to see. I was wondering what possible songs of Jackson's could be in the movie? The series spent a lot of money on music. Taylor Swift songs are obvious to be in the film. I am curious if there are any Michael Jackson fans that can speculate, wish, or suggest a song for the film. What would it be? Will You Be There is my personal favorite.
