Should i update to the update after jan security patch? Will it slow down my phone? (S21 5G)

So i am on ooredoo prepaid and i have mvr 39 both ooredoo app and *200# says theres 39 mvr on my balance but when i Call someone it says balance is low and gives me a pop up to get emergency credit.
