How would you design our underfloor heating and heat pump system? We have a bungalow with an open plan kitchen, living, dining room. Most installers are recommending a thermostat in every room but this seems to contradict typical advice which suggests that thermostats kill the efficiency of the system

Logic suggests to me that we would use weather compensation along with smart underfloor heating design based on the heat loss of the room to ensure that the room is adequately heated but I’m not sure how to ensure that the room is always at the desired temperature as some rooms will have greater solar gain than others.
