Tail light not working after ground wire reroute

Tail light and brake light stopped working, I replaced the bulbs and got nothing. Thought it was maybe a grounding issue but I rerouted the ground wire and still nothing. Anyone know what else it could be?

Right rear tail light troubleshooting?

Had my brake light and taillight stop working. I thought it was the bulb and replaced both still didn’t work. I also snipped the ground wire and used a female slide on terminal and grounded it to a piece of metal inside the housing. Still nothing as far are brake and tail light but the rear blinker does come on… anyone know what else it could be?
