Help plz 🥲
I’m English but my grandparents and many of my family and the community I grew up in are Irish. I’m considering applying for an Irish passport but I feel kinda weird about it but not knowing enough about irelands history and language + I’ve always wanted to learn the language to feel closer to that side of myself but my grandparents died when I was a kid and not many people in my family are that fluent. I am hoping to move to London within the next couple of years and if I do I plan on trying to take classes at one of the Irish cultural centres but until then I was wondering if there were any good resources I could check out thy aren’t Duolingo? I have ADHD and Autism so I’ve always struggled when it comes to learning languages but now that I’m finished with uni it seems like it could be the perfect time for me to learn considering how unlikely I am to find a job anytime soon. Any help would be super appreciated :)
P.S. sorry if the grammar is horrible in this post, it’s like 3am and I’ve spent the whole day finishing my final uni project 🥲
