Just finished Sugar S2 and enjoyed it even more than S1. I won’t spoil anything here but I’d recommend going into S1 blind if you can.

Colin Farrell was fantastic, the cast was even better than last season (always love a bit of Tony Dalton and Shea Wigham), and even though the plot was a bit less traditional noir than S1 I thought it was an improvement in terms of pacing and how it utilised the supporting characters.

If we do get a third season I’m curious to see how they continue to balance a new mystery with Sugar’s personal plotline - they were pretty disconnected in S2 which was a little jarring at times, but it worked for the most part.

I could honestly watch 5+ seasons of this show, John Sugar is one of my favourite TV protagonists in a long time.

Normally on my PC I'll use RTX VSR for enhancing things like 720p videos on YouTube etc in real-time - it's not perfect but it does clear up some noise and blurriness. I know that Microsoft Edge has a built-in AI upscaler/enhancer too which shows up on Windows but doesn't appear to be on the MacOS version.

Does anyone know if there's any equivalent tool for MacOS? I'm on an M4 Mac mini so I'm not expecting the same performance as a dedicated GPU, but I'd love a way to upscale older 720p YouTube videos in real-time in the browser if possible.
