Tips for 2 year old

Tips for 2 year old

Dear curly hair community,

I’d like to double check if there is anything additional or different I should be doing with my toddlers curly hair. I am a fine straight hair gal so no experience!

My 2 year old has curly hair/ wavy hair (pictured). Current routine:
- hair wash approx once a week or if dirty - Johnson&Johnson baby shampoo no tears as it goes everywhere!
- while hair is wet I do a leave in conditioner (child’s farm one) with my hands and then brush through with a wide tooth comb while wet. A couple of scrunches then let it air dry
- when my husband baths her he towel dries her hair and doesn’t do my conditioner and scrunching step
- when it’s messy / frizzy / knotty when she gets up or after she’s been rolling around, I try to hand brush or wide comb with a tiny bit of my own hair oil (Olaplex 7). If it’s a complete mess, I wet it down with my hands and do the leave in conditioner step above

She’s a wriggly toddler so things like a bonnet / complicated routine are not realistic at this age, I just want to make sure I’m taking care of it properly and something simple enough for my husband to do as well

Thank you in advance
