Pushing new leaves but losing leaves
I bought this Alocasia, it was a rescue from an office, and for the first 2/3 months I fertilized it twice and it pushed at least one new leaf per week, it was incredible. Then it got some spider mites, I sprayed with a mix of neem oil, alcohol, water and peppermint soap, the mites didn’t go anywhere. A few leaves started getting yellow and drooping.
I removed those, washed the whole plant and now have been spraying more religiously with the neem oil mixture and they seem to have gone. But I still have a few leaves looking not so good, and the stem looking a bit wrinkly. Am I missing something? Could this be something else other than the mites? Am overreacting 😅?
I have a water indicator on it, so I try to water just when necessary, which is each 1 1/2 week more or less.
Thank you!
