Southern Si Sa Ket near border- safe?

Hello,

I will be traveling in few weeks to Si Sa Ket province. My travels will take me to about 15 km from Cambodian border. I will be there about three weeks. Would like to visit Phanom Dong Rak and Khao Phran Wihan parks also.

I cannot find much news past January of the area after ceasefire.

Anyone have local insight on safety right now? Any extra cautions I should take? Thank you for your help.

Help with hose bib/ outdoor faucet!

Hello! I am hoping for some guidance on how to replace the handle on this hosebib to make it functional. It was like this when I moved in. Some kind of Woodford model.

I bought a “universal“ replacement handle (Danco), but it doesn’t seem compatible with what I have left of the hosebib here. I may be going able this wrong as I have very little experience with any home repairs. But I want to learn!

How can I make this functional? Any advice on how to add a new handle would be greatly appreciated!
