IS CA A GOOD PLAN FOR PE OR CORE FINANCE ROLES?

since im in 1st year only, i cant appear for the cfa yet (I'll graduate in 2029) and i dont want to waste my time waiting for eligibility so is picking up the CA course a good option or choosing FRM (i believe its very math intensive so im skeptical)

and CA is not a cakewalk so if i go with this option i'll most likely be appearing for the sep foundation attempt and hopefully clear it, my endsems end 13-15th june, will start prep by 16th with 77 days in my hand so will it be possible? plus i'll most likely be doing an internship side by side as college break hogi tab

plus like most students doing the CA are from Bcom background but im pursuing Eco hons

im honestly way too confused regarding career but i gotta start somewhere, i wanna do it all but thats practically impossible lwk have unreal expectations from myself

so to the current students or anyone with good knowledge pls help a junior out I'd be grateful

NEED OPINIONS REGARDING CATEGORY SELECTION

i selected general category while filling out but i just figured out i fall in ews category so can i choose ews while filling out csas application later?

for context my mom is a single parent (parents are separated) and my dad doesn't really care anymore

so no economic support from his side, mom is a home maker and we are supported by her side of the family, we live with them so u can understand the dynamic, and its not smthing i want to rely on for the next 3years of my education as the support is never permanent and its nothing that belings to us or by the time i start earning well, ive had a lot of economic hardships growing up

although it wasn't like this till i was the age 5-6 after that so it really is a real thing but i wasnt aware 📉📉

so i can apply for ews right?? also does the uni/cllg explicitly declare a category result and are people discriminatory??? 😭😭😭
