How do I deal with bully and racism?
As a new international student from SEA, just in my 3rd month but i have been targeted by a girl in the same class at Macquarie University College.
We share same class last term, but on the second term I just have got to know her name.
Its all started from i wear face mask to class to avoid getting a cold from the cool weather, but at class she told her friends that I have given her a cold (in her native language but i have someone translated for me, to warn me), she make it like I am a germ and she attempts to stop me get in my seat with a bag, and act surprised when I ask her to move her bag, and have stand there for a while.
I start going to class early to avoid the awkwardness, she moved, but constantly glaring at me, or anyone I talked to. Last presentation, she try to make an embarrassment out of me, by asking questions specifically targeted on my part, i try to dismiss it, but we keep eyes contact, she give me a fake threatening smile, as she a much better English speaker i dont think i can confront her, as verbally i will lose.
Idk what to do, as I just never experienced any targeted bullying, and racism by someone who trying to show that she better than me. I have share it to my classmates, and they also face the same problem by her calling them a slur word. I dont have a stable mental health, and have face problems with depression and anxiety, and it keep getting worsen for me as I cant stop sobbing at night from the horrible experience, i just wish there something can be done as it keep bothering me and my study, I start to feel against going to class as she might attempt to embarrass me or calling me name. I would love some help for the situation…
