Help! I fried my hair!
I’m almost 50 and was a hair stylist for 15 years and I have never had this issue happen before. And before you say it, YES, I used heat protection every time. It’s never been an issue but for some reason recently it just fried. I use a flat iron to put loose wave in. Guess it’s too hot? But why now?
Texture is awful but only on the top layer of my shoulder length brown hair (base color at my roots twice a year lighter pieces to break it up, level 6).
What can I do? I’ve been out of the game for a while. I don’t know what’s available and what works. It’s not a lot, thankfully, but it’s frizzy and tangling on the top layer. Help!
