Reccomend me something that starts off attention grabbing?
Just what the title says. I'm looking for recs that are immediatly attention-grabbing. Oviously that's going to mean different things for different people, but I'm especially looking for things that move quickly in the beginning. The exception to this, would be if the format or world building is so obviously unique and compelling right off the bat that it keeps your attention by itself (like, say, the silt verses).
I prefer horror, thrillers or mysteries and definitely have a weak spot for the "investigate journalist" type of formula, but it's absolutely not a must. I'd prefer it if they are proper audiodramas and not just dramatic readings of stories.
Things I've enjoyed include Derelict, LifeAfter, Limetown, Video Palace, The Left Right Game, The edge of sleep and The silt verses. I also really enjoyed 夜のミステリー, which features short dramatized stories that were originally sent in to a late night radio program by various people in the 70's. So I'm also fine with single, short audiodrama anthologies as long as they are audiodramas and not just campfire style storytelling.
Thank you so much in advance!
