I just experienced losing my Bank SDU upgrades. Thankfully the 30-ish items I stored there didn't disappeared. Is it better to store my items to my other characters? Thanks!

Hi! My fiancee and I just started Mayhem mode and now farming xp. I just have some questions regarding the scraptrap farming method.
Is it still viable?
Should we just farm scraptrap nest then reset or also kill scraptrap prime?
How does scraptrap prime respawns? Should I finish the whole dlc?
Is there a way to control an AI unit without physically putting the remote control module to the unit. It is really hard to control a jet zooming around the map. Thanks!
