Where is Lydia!?
My friends Lydia has disappeared and I can’t for the life of me figure out what’s happened to her.
She’s not dead. Because she’s not in the Whiterun Hall of the Dead and a letter of inheritance was never received.
It’s been quite a while, so weeks worth of in game days have passed, and she’s been completing Dawnguard, so she’s also had Serana as her follower for ages. So Lydia can’t be “waiting” somewhere anymore, but she hasn’t appeared in Breezehome or Dragonsreach.
I heard about a glitch that can happen when leaving Blackreach, where they can spawn in an unopened lift exit and be stuck there. Have checked them all…. Nothing.
I also know followers can get stuck in Broken Oar Grotto. But she hasn’t been there yet.
I’m out of ideas! Any other things we can try?
