Appointment at German consulate
Hello everyone, I have an appointment at the German Consulate in Mumbai for a Studienkolleg visa. I already have my B1 certificate, but honestly I’m still not very confident speaking German. I wanted to ask if anyone here has recently gone through the Mumbai consulate process. What kind of questions do they usually ask? Do they expect full fluency at B1 level, or is basic communication enough? I’m worried because I heard from someone that they expect you to speak very fluently, and now I’m overthinking everything. What happens if you cannot answer some questions properly or make mistakes while speaking German? If anyone has personal experience with the Mumbai consulate, please share what your interview was like and how strict they were. It would really help me a lot.
