Im currently painting my second mini, my first inner circle companion out of the set (really regretting not painting it in pieces before assembly but lesson lernt i guess 😭) and im using some stormhost silver to really make it pop, but im wanting to try highlights for the sake of learning and im a bit lost where to start when it comes to silver metallics. I got some corax white and was thinking of doing some very thin highlights around the edges, but idk, any suggestions or am i on the right train of thought here?

Finally got around to painting my first miniature! It a bit rough, hell the primer coat on this one was a bit too thick compared to my other ones but in all honesty this was only ment to serve as a practice dummy as i learn all the techniques and brush control, im feeling oddly satisfied with it, can wait to improve more and work on my 30k dreadwing squad! (PS its angels of absolution, ignore the black smudge on the left pauldron, i had no prints and the fine liner ink smeared 😭)
