curious about mobility aids

hello all! i (25f) am almost two weeks in of taking 100mg dasatinib daily after being diagnosed with cml mid last month and experiencing some not so great side effects. i experience both muscle and bone pain most severe in my legs, and i stay mobile, (walking, stretching, etc.) but it seems to honestly make the pain worse even without overdoing it. i know the first bit of a tki is expected to be rough, but i went to my towns yearly fall festival this past week and kept having to exclude myself to take a break or sit on the ground to rest my legs from how intense the pain gets. there are nights when all i can do is try to massage my legs, prop them up, use my heating pad, and cry, but i don’t want to find myself in that situation in public where theres simply nothing else i can do. just curious if anyone uses any sort of mobility aids when there are rough days but shit still needs to get done

starting dasatinib tomorrow and scared

hi all! i’m 25f, diagnosed with CML this month. started going a little blind from roth spots bleeding into my macula, thought it was severe anemia, but that’s what led to my diagnosis. i was in the hospital for 6 days (unfortunately including my 25th birthday), and started taking hydroxyurea and allopurinal. my wbc was 185k at the highest, 112.5k on the 11th when i left the hospital, and all the way down to 16.5k this past friday in my recent labs. i did have a bone biopsy, i do have the philadelphia chromosome, and the results from my marrow were roughly 2% blast cells. i had to go to the cancer center today to learn all about the horrid side effects of dasatinib (i will be starting on 100mg) and sign release forms before taking it, and needless to say, i am TERRIFIED. if you have taken it, what is your experience? should i be as scared as i am about possible heart attack, fluid retention around lungs, and all of the kidney issues? and to my uterus havers, have you had your eggs frozen, or been able to take breaks from medication or switch medications to be able to have children?
