Looking to get a budget UTV mainly for my mom and Fiance to drive while my pops and I ride our KTM 300’s.
Terrain varies from smaller rocky trails/hills to more flat open dirt/sand with whoops.
I want something very reliable, doesn’t haven’t to be fast but something that is capable and I can have a bit of fun in as well. I’m fairly mechanically inclined so I don’t mind doing a bit of refresh if it’s a bit older but I don’t want it breaking down every trip.
So far it seems like Honda/Kawa/Yamaha are a bit better suited for my needs.
Rhino 700 - cheapest, seems quite reliable but not the most capable or fun
Teryx - Similar to rhino, possibility of 4seater, heard it’s a bit underwhelming
Wolverine 700 - Seems like good balance of price, capability, reliability but still not performance oriented
YXZ - This would probably be my pick if it was for me, especially the manual but for the ladies the SS would likely be the route. Might not perform as well on the more slower technical stuff?
X2 & RMAX - Bit more extreme end of my budget but might be worth biting the bullet.
