Buying a Used 2025 Tesla Model Y from a Dealership

Hi experienced owners,
I am a potential first time tesla owner and looking to buy a used 2025 Model Y AWD Long Range (20,000 miles, single owner, clean carfax) from a non tesla dealer.

A few things I had questions on and hoping for some help.
- The dealership insists that I need a "Brake Plus" add on that they say is already on the car and they put on every car. This add on they say is for "safety" and flashes the brake lights if you slam on them hard or something (I honestly doubt they have put it on yet) I have got them down to $199 (from $399, would honestly just like for them to remove it) but am concerned that if they mess with any of the electrical work that it might void the warranty from tesla (30 k and 3 years remaining) Has anyone had experience with this?
- I noticed the software was not the latest version and could tell the UI on the screen was not what I experienced when I test drove a brand new 2026 Juniper. I assume that when I update the software to the latest version it will look familiar to the Juniper, correct?
- Piggy backing off of above, I noticed that I did not see any mention of full self driving on the UI, I assume it is again because of older software. Understood that I need to pay $99 a month but i just want to confirm I will have the ability to purchase FSD since it has HW4.
- Before I pull the trigger on this, is there any non-obvious thing that you all recommend I check out before I purchase?

Appreciate any response and hope to join the Tesla life here soon!
